FD Series Mechanical Curtain Blade Fire Damper

FD Series curtain blade fire dampers are engineered to prevent the spread of fire through ductwork that penetrates fire rated walls, floors, ceilings and cavity barriers.

Certified to E classification under BS EN 13501 3, the range offers a wide variety of features and configurations, including rectangular, circular or flat oval duct connections, galvanised or stainless steel construction, options for low, medium and high velocity systems, and multiple frame variations to suit different installation requirements.

The FD Series fire dampers are tested to BS EN 1366 2 and carry an E rating for dependable fire protection.

Our FD Series Mechanical Curtain Blade Fire Dampers are designed to help prevent the spread of fire through ductwork systems in commercial and industrial buildings.

Mechanical curtain blade fire dampers are commonly installed where ventilation ductwork passes through fire rated walls, floors, and compartment lines. In the event of fire, the damper closes to help restrict fire spread through the ductwork system and support building fire safety requirements.
